Agicap's award-winning Accounts Receivable module has a powerful new addition: the pay by link feature.

Please note: Agicap Pay By Link is currently available only for payments processed in EUR and requires integration with Swan, a European payment service provider. It is not yet available for use with USD or in the U.S. market. We’re actively working on expanding this feature – stay tuned!

Pay by link is a simple and secure online payment method that allows businesses to collect payments remotely, without the need for a traditional checkout. Here's how it works:

  • Simplifies the payment process for your customers: Generate a payment link for your customer.
  • Send it via email, SMS, or invoice.
  • Customer pays online quickly and securely.
  • Accelerate cash collection and improve customer experience.

Make it as easy as possible for customers to pay you in 3 easy steps:

  • Customer opens their client portal.
  • Customer clicks on card payment link and pays with credit card.
  • Agicap tracks the payment and updates your cash management overview.

With Agicap's foundational AR module CashCollect, clients testify to a 20% reduction in DSO as well as a halving of the time spent by staff on dunning and collection. Simon Rauturier, CFO of the Plenetude group, says Agicap is "a reliable, ergonomic, and revolutionary tool for cash management".

To the existing versatility and power of Agicap CashCollect, the Agicap pay by link feature offers three key advantages:

  • Simplifies the payment process for your customers: they just need to click on a link, and use a credit card.
  • Reduces payment delays: every little counts. Streamlining cash collection reduces DSO (Days Sales Outstanding). If the DSO of a business is too high, then its Working Capital Requirement will be too high too - and that can lead to costly external financing. Avoid!
  • Improves cash flow management for Agicap clients: in two ways. Firstly, payment links speed up the payment process, which improves cash flow. And, secondly, online payments are instantly registered by the Agicap cash management system and used to feed into accurate forecasting.

As with QR code payments, you can simplify the payment process for your customers, reduce payment delays, and improve cash flow management with Pay By Link.

For eligible clients in Europe, the customer payment experience for Pay By Link is designed to be as simple as possible:

  • The customer goes to their client portal.
  • By the side of each invoice that is due, they can click on a payment button (a secure link)
  • They will then be directed to the payment page provided by Swan.
  • Here they can enter their card details and confirm payment.
  • The customer can then review their payment details including the amount paid and the and the payment date - alongside the invoice details.

Yes, 100%. Robust banking protocols are used for Agicap Pay By Link feature in conjunction with reputable provider Swan, a licensed European payment institution regulated under PSD2.

For security and compliance, Swan holds 100% of the total amount of card payment for 5 business days before releasing it into the Agicap client's bank account.

To set up Pay By Link, the Agicap client needs only:

  • Create an account on Swan (in the unlikely event that they do not have one already).
  • Create a merchant profile.
  • Press the "add card payment" button.
  • Await confirmation from Swan.

Once a card payment is made using Pay by link:

  • The status of the invoice in the Client Portal will be marked as "paid by card".
  • In the bigger picture of Agicap payment tracking and reconciliation, the invoice status will remain "Ongoing" until it is manually reconciled or marked as paid.
  • The transaction will appear in the Agicap user's Swan Web Banking under the "Upcoming" transactions section.
  • The day after the payment at 18:00, the transaction will be visible under the "History" page of Swan Web Banking.

Pay by link is available to clients using our CashCollect module. While this feature is currently optimized for EUR transactions and EU-based payment processing, we're working on expanding availability.
